Key Responsibilities
The Emergency Department Trauma Registrar is responsible for ensuring compliance with the National
Trauma Data Bank (NTDB) and the Arizona Department of Public Health (ADHS) standards. The Trauma
Registrar is responsible for timely and accurate entry of trauma data and completing quarterly reports as
required.
- Collect and enter data into the State Trauma Registry in a timely manner.
Assist Trauma Program Manager in coordinating trauma-related education and meetings including
- TNCC course prep.
- Assigns and scores all injuries utilizing the AIS and ICD scoring system.
- Completes and verifies for accuracy all data collected.
- Participates on the Trauma Quality Improvement Team

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Greets patients and provides general support to the staff and operations of the mammography department. b. Operates assigned equipment and perform all procedures in a safe manner while delivering high quality service to patients and customers. c. Accesses and provides lab values to performing technologist. e. Collaborate closely with the Cancer Center's medical staff, engaging in patient visits, distribution activities, and investigational drug studies. Position Purpose

Lab Assistants will have an in-depth understanding of AIDET, customer satisfaction, HIPAA, safety, and all regulatory agency rule and regulations. Additional items such as specimen types, test codes, ordering and cancelling tests, specimen acceptability per department, waived testing procedures, and proficiency in general lab assistant duties will be assessed. Lab Assistant will be able to show initiative by managing their workload without direction on a daily basis and helping their teammates when needed. The overall purpose of the Laboratory Assistant is to assist the performing Medical Technologist with items such as filling printers, answering phone calls, faxing, dumping trash, restocking supplies, alongside their normal daily responsibilities. Properly process all specimen types for the laboratory within the accepted time limits. · Receive and collect patient orders in a structured and timely manner. · Accurately process all reference lab specimens following container and storage requirements. · Is able to correctly load specimens and reagents on their respective instrumentation. · Accurately performs maintenance as required per area. · Properly inspect specimens of all collection types hemolysis, quantity, and correct labeling. · Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of quality control requirements. · Use the hospital LIS to collect and receive samples, cancel specimens for necessary reasons, reprint labels, and all other job responsibilities. · Keep work area clean, disinfected, organized, and stocked. · Participate in proper inventory control by stocking laboratory supplies in respective areas during which receipt date, acceptability and expiration dates of supplies will be documented. · Perform reagent sweeps and stock rotation to assist with expiration dates on consumable lab items. · Appropriately handle most phone calls directed into the lab by answering callers’ questions to the best of your ability, or forward caller on to area that covers the topic in question. · Be present and ready to work for all scheduled shifts. Be versatile and willing to help cover other shifts in times of higher workloads, call offs, vacations, and short staffing. · Complete initial and annual trainings, yearly competencies, CAP assignments, and any paper form proficiencies assigned by management.

Tracks and captures the Medical Necessity concerns as they relate to services being rendered and documented by the health care team. Is responsibility for review of documentation for the evaluation of 5449 (Init:08/17ms; Rev: 2/18sn Rev: 4/18sn) (Please refer to electronic document management system for the most current revision) medical necessity and appropriate clinical setting in the successful filing of appeals. Work with Case management as need to clarify appropriate clinical setting denials. 9. Represents the hospital in a professional fashion when necessary in speaking with the insurance companies, prepares for the phone call and organizes the files in a manner that would enable the Manager / Director to perform this duty as needed and necessary. 10. Provides charge error trends to Manager as needed in order to facilitate improvement in chart documentation and accurate keying of charges. Performs and communicates in a highly professional manner at all times. 11. Consistently demonstrates the ability to assess a situation from a variety of perspectives; considers alternatives and chooses the most appropriate course of action; works well with co-workers and other department personnel in the resolution of claim denial issues. Key Responsibilities: Inpatient Pharmacy Technicians at all Levels assist pharmacists in providing health care, preparing and distributing medications to patients, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Coordinates billing, including third-party prescriptions, accurately and timely. Fills Pyxis machines and Cubies. Prepares medications and supplies for dispensing. Assists Pharmacists in entering medical orders, obtaining patient demographics, delivers medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary care areas. Prepare inventory, order drugs and supplies, repacks bulk meds, and stock shelves in various pharmacy locations. Performs other pharmacy related duties within the scope of certification/license. Pharmacy Technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Level II also includes - Preparing IV Piggyback, large volume meds, parenteral nutrition solutions, intravenous solutions/admixtures, and PCA pump mixtures. Compounds ointments, creams, oral solutions, and other medications.
- Level III also includes - Rotates to all areas of pharmacy. Prepares CADD pumps and chemotherapy admixtures.

Key Responsibilities: Review all requests for Medical Records applying HIPAA, statutes, and hospital policies. Knowledge of electronic and paper-based records storage systems as they relate to the release of information. Complete requests and subpoena answers in accordance with policy or court order. Completes government agency requests with appropriate billing for copy service according to regulations. Complete requests thru the ROI module in the electronic medical record for all releases and scan authorizations received to the accurate patient account. Monitors patient phone calls and electronic requests for records. Retrieves patient charts, and maintains a log of discharged visits to ensure all charts are accounted for. Preps and scans the documents/charts. Uploads images into the electronic record. Performs quality review functions/document indexing on all scanned documents/encounters. Analyzes the medical chart for accuracy and completion. Assigns documentation deficiencies Works well with all departments and providers, performs and communicates in a highly professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience: Understand and apply HIPAA guidelines as they relate to the release of information. Ability to operate standard business office equipment, multitask, remain organized, have sufficient oral and written communication skills, and excellent customer service delivery.
