Seeking:  Vice President Physician Practice

This position will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directing to the CEO,  is responsible for planning, developing and overseeing the physician practices service line, including financial performance, marketing, growth, physician recruiting and contracting.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of strategic and financial goals for Physician Services through the creation of policy and program initiatives, including long range strategy planning and market strategies.
  •  Develop and implement Physician Services standards and operating systems to enhance the effectiveness of the service line.
  •  Responsible for optimizing patient access and resource utilization while ensuring patient, physician, and staff satisfaction.
  •  Supervise, act as resource for, and provide direction to Clinic Managers, service line leaders and staff.
  •  Oversee and prioritize initiatives to optimize and maintain EMR, practice management tools and any other system-related tools to ensure improved workflow, efficiency, and patient and referring physician satisfaction.
  •  Responsible for the professional billing services organization, including billing, coding, compliance, and insurance credentialing.
  •  Leadership and evaluation of the value based purchasing program.
  •  Responsible for physician relations and retention for the Physician Services Division.

Qualifications

Education and Skills: 

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business and financial healthcare as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.   
  • Must possess a strong knowledge and understanding of financial operations as normally demonstrated through a minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership experience. 
  • Previous experience in a physician practice setting highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated success in achieving quality outcomes and human and capital management. 
  • Ability to exercise mature and sound judgment in the management of financial operations; exceptional communication skills and ability to analyze data and report concise, accurate reports; knowledge of current state and federal regulatory requirements; excellent computer skills.
